SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining close, continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and the entire property, in order to protect life, assets and the property.

- Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting same to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution.
- Utilizes necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property.
- Protects company assets and gaming integrity, through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor.

- Supports other Employees, Supervisors and Executives within the company, with regard to protection of assets in their respective departments.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GED required.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as surveillance personnel or combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, closed circuit television equipment preferred.
- Must possess excellent observational and communication skills. Must be able to detect any schemes or cheating activity aimed at the company or its' customers.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of problems involving several concrete and abstract variables.

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The spread of the coronavirus has prompted closures of schools, businesses, and numerous government services in San Diego County and across the country.
Here is a list of closures, cancellations, and postponements that have occurred to protect against the spread of the virus.

Latest closures:
- 2020 Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon & Half Marathon, originally scheduled for May 30-31, 2020, has been postponed until the fall.
- San Diego Superior Court to remain closed through April 30, 2020, and remain open for emergency matter only.
- The San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park announced March 30 that both parks will remain closed until further notice.
- Sycuan Casino Resort’s temporary closure is being extended until further notice, according to the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, but a reopen date was not immediately known. The casino/resort was initially closed on March 20. More info
- Legoland California in Carlsbad is extending its closure to at least April 15. The closure includes the main park, the water park, Sea Life Aquarium, and Legoland Hotels. Park officials said visitors with pre-existing reservations during the closure can cancel for a full refund or reschedule without penalty or additional charge, excluding themonth of July 2020, and Dec. 26, 2020-Jan. 3, 2021.
- City of Poway is temporarily closing the Lake Poway Recreation Area, Blue Sky Ecological Reserve, Iron Mountain Wilderness Area, trailhead to Rattlesnake Canyon, and skate park. The closures include access to hiking trails, parking lots and restrooms. Gates and parking lots will be closed; signage will be placed at all locations.
- City of Oceanside, effective March 23, has shut down its beach parking lots and city playgrounds. The city’s parks, including skate parks, will stay open. City golf courses are also remaining open, but some social distancing restrictions apply. Public services counters and City Council chambers are closed. More info
- Imperial Beach officials say city beaches are closed effective 12 p.m. on March 24. A potential reopening date was not given.
- California Wine Festival scheduled for May 29–30 in Carlsbad has been canceled.
- Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s shelter in Encinitas is closed temporarily and the organization’s other programs have been stopped due to the outbreak.
- City of Chula Vista is suspending operations except for “critical public safety services” such as police, fire, and public works. The city has shut down all parks, libraries, recreation centers and City Hall, with all city activities canceled “for the foreseeable future.” Chula Vista officials said there will be 15 handwashing stations placed around the city. - Parkway Plaza in El Cajon has suspended its hours until further notice. Mall officials say Parkway Plaza’s restaurants and other retailers “may be open at various hours to provide essential services for El Cajon and its surrounding neighborhood.” More info
- Westfield malls in Escondido (North County), National City (Plaza Bonita), San Diego (Mission Valley), and University City (UTC) are shutting down the majority of their respective operations. Some “essential” retailers will remain open, but customers will have to check for hours prior to visiting.
- Point Loma Nazarene University students who live in campus residence halls were told to “return home as quickly as possible and no later than March 20 at 10 p.m.' However, some students who meet certain conditions will be allowed to remain on campus. More info
- Simon Property Group temporarily closed all its malls and outlets and the closure will last until at least March 29. The group owns several properties in San Diego County, including the Fashion Valley mall and Carlsbad and Las Americas Premium outlets.
- Barona Resort & Casino, Golden Acorn Casino, Jamul Casino, Sycuan Casino Resort, and Viejas Casino & Resort are closing starting at 12 p.m. on March 20. They will remain close through the end of March.
- San Diego Community College District colleges, including City, Mesa and Miramar colleges, have officially closed their campuses. Remote operations for the schools begins March 23.
- San Diego County libraries are shifting to virtual check outs. More info
- Serving Seniors, a nonprofit meal service, closed all 15 of its congregate dining sites throughout the county Tuesday. It is transitioning to delivered meals for all clients to meet the needs of thousands of low-income and homeless seniors. Staff are preparing to-go meals at the Gary and Mary West Senior Wellness Center -- the organization's flagship location.
- The Cabrillo National Monument, Old Point Loma Lighthouse and other park facilities at the National Monument closed Tuesday until further notice.
- The San Diego Humane Society remains open, but by appointment only. It also needs more foster homes during the crisis, as adoptions have declined sharply.
- Flagship Cruises & Events suspended all cruises and events on Tuesday through March 31. It will continue its ferry service between Coronado and San Diego. The company is still accepting reservations for events after April 1.
- The Rooftop Cinema Club San Diego postponed its 2020 season launch atop the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego due to the coronavirus outbreak. The venue was set to open April 1.
San Diego-area schools:
- The California State University system is moving all classes and most in-person operations to online only. More info
- San Diego County Office of Education says dozens of school districts will close schools effective March 16. More info
- San Diego Unified School District is closing all of its schools effective March 16, with expectation to reopen April 6. Officials say the closures are a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus. More info
- Palomar College will move most of its classes online for the remainder of the spring semester starting March 30, after spring break. Faculty will have two non-instructional days on March 18 and 19 to prepare. Athletic events on campus will be fan-less and all business-related student and staff travel will be canceled.
- Steel Canyon Charter School will close from March 16 thru April 13
- Starting March 16, all of Alliant’s on-campus, ground-based courses will be conducted via distance learning in a virtual classroom due to coronavirus.
- University of California San Diego will begin to deliver all lecture and discussion courses remotely starting in the spring quarter. All university-sponsored athletic events are scheduled to continue but will be 'fan-less.' The university also asked students and staff to postponed or cancel all events or meetings expected to have more than 100 people.
- UCSD Athletics's home events from March 13-15 will be closed to non-essential personnel. UC San Diego has a home women's water polo match on Friday night, and home baseball games Friday through Sunday.
- San Diego State University has moved all classes to virtual instruction through the end of the spring semester, with certain exceptions. SDSU will also suspend all spring break and summer study abroad programs. The university, however, is not suspending third-party partner programs abroad, citing authority.
- San Diego State has suspended all spring sports amid coronavirus worries.
- Southwestern College in the South Bay is moving all of its in-person classes to online or distributed instruction from March 16-20. In addition to canceling “large public events” at its main campus and satellite campuses, SWC’s athletic events will go on but will not have fans.
- University of San Diego will move to campus-wide remote teaching starting March 23 through the end of the spring semester. All USD intercollegiate athletic events and club sports are also canceled for the rest of the season. To prepare for the shift in instruction, USD is canceling all classes March 14-22. All USD student living in campus residence halls must also relocate from campus no later than March 22. Students who want to apply to stay on campus due to any hardship in moving can apply here. Only a limited number of students will remain on campus during the closure.
- Grossmont and Cuyamaca college campuses will close the week of March 16-20 and temporarily shift to online instruction as a precautionary measure. Classes to resume on March 30. More info
San Diego County city closures
- San Diego Superior Court to remain closed through April 30, 2020, and remain open for emergency matter only.
- City of La Mesa's City Hall and all other city facilities will be temporarily closed to the public effective March 18, 2020, only providing essential services and by appointment only.
- National City Police Department's lobby will be closed to he public effective March 18, 2020.
- San Diego Police Department is closing its front counters at all of its stations and the downtown headquarters. Closure to last through March 31.
- Escondido Police Department has closed its lobby and business office at its headquarters effective March 17.
- The City of Carlsbad is postponing or canceling several events over the coronavirus starting March 12. A list of the city's affected events can be found here.
- City of San Marcos has postponed several events until further notice. A list of the city's postponed events can be found here.
- City of Poway has canceled or postponed non-essential meetings and gatherings through the end of March.
- City of Vista programs and events postponed/cancelled through March 31. More info
San Diego County events and venues:
- The USS Midway Museum is closed to the public effective March 16. All special events, military ceremonies, school visits and other activities have been canceled.
- Balboa Museum of Art is closed until further notice.
- YMCA of San Diego County has closed all of its branches and Overnight Camps for at least the next two weeks, effective March 16. Youth programs are closed to align with school district closures.
- The Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation will be suspending all programs, tours, and temporarily closing the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House.
- San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park announced March 30 that both parks will be closed until further notice.
- Santee's 2020 Spring Eggstravaganza on April 4 has been canceled.
- Picnic in the Park, scheduled for March 29 at Pepper Park in National City, has been postponed until a later date, the Port of San Diego announced.
- San Diego Humane Society is moving to appointments only. Locations are also suspending community spay and neuter services.
- Escondido's ceremony to dedicate the new 'giving arch' on Thursday, March 12 has been postponed. A later date has not been scheduled.
San Diego sports events and venues:
- The rest of the San Diego Sockers' season has been suspended effective immediately, in accordance with Major Arena Soccer League's decision to suspend the 2019-2020 regular season due to the coronavirus.
- San Diego Gulls are suspending play until further notice, in accordance with the American Hockey League's decision to suspend play until further notice.
- The Padres will not hold any events at Petco Park for at least the remainder of March.
- The Kia Classic, scheduled for March 26-29 in Carlsbad, has been postponed until a later date in 2020.

- San Diego Seals lacrosse season temporarily suspended over coronavirus outbreak, as the National Lacrosse League suspends all games over coronavirus. More info
- San Diego Leprechaun Run, set for March 14 in Pacific Beach, has been changed to a virtual run format only.
- San Diego Awesome 80's Run, scheduled for March 29 in Embarcadero Park South, has been changed to a virtual run format only.
- The San Diego Half Marathon, set for March 15, at Petco Park, has been changed to a virtual run format only.
- San Diego Legion is suspending regular season play for the next 30 days, starting March 12, in accordance with Major League Rugby's decision to delay the season over coronavirus.
- The 2020 GranFondo San Diego cyclist race, scheduled for April 5, has been postponed out of an abundance of caution for riders. Race organizers are working to determine when best to reschedule the event.
- San Diego Loyal soccer has postponed the team's home opener on March 14 until July 29 due to coronavirus concerns and in accordance with USD's decision to limit campus events on the same weekend, the team said.
San Diego entertainment events and venues:
- LEGOLAND® California will temporarily close its theme park, water park and SEA LIFE® aquarium.
- SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment says they will shut down all theme parks, including the San Diego location, from March 16 through the end of the month.
- LEGOLAND California is postponing its grand opening for its 'The LEGO Movie World' expansion. The park plans to open for guests on March 13.
- The New Children's Museum is limiting capacity to 250 people at any given time, in accordance with the city's order banning gatherings with more than 250 people. The museum will also close from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. for deep cleaning and sanitizing.
- Birch Aquarium will close to the public starting March 12 until further notice to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The aquarium is also canceling all special events, school visits, and outreach activities. Staff will continue to work behind the scenes to operate the aquarium.
- Old Town San Diego's Cygnet Theatre is postponing all performances from March 12 through April 15. Performances will resume on April 16. Ticket holders affected by the cancelations can contact the theatre by email or phone.
- The San Diego Latino Film Festival, scheduled to run March 12-22, has been postponed until a later date.
- Balboa Park's Comic-Con Museum has postponed its list of events until a later date.
- La Jolla Music Society, La Jolla Playhouse, San Diego Opera, and San Diego Symphony are canceling and or postponing performances through the end of March, effective immediately, due to COVID-19.
- San Diego ShamROCK, scheduled for March 14, has been canceled.
- Circle of Art festival in Borrego Springs, scheduled for March 13-14, has been canceled.
- The Irish Congress of Southern California's 40th annual San Diego St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Festival, which was to have been held Saturday, has been canceled due to the coronavirus.
- The California Center for the Arts, Escondido is canceling/postponing all of its events with an expected attendance of over 250 people. The decision takes effect immediately and will last through March 31. However, the Center says “smaller private events may be happening as scheduled and social distancing is encouraged.”

San Diego conference events and venues:
- The Del Mar Fairgrounds has postponed or canceled all events hosted at the venue in March and the fairgrounds to the public until further notice.
- Honor Flight San Diego is postponing their May 2020 three-day trip to Washington, D.C., in accordance with the Honor Flight Network's decision for a mandatory suspension of all flights through April 30, 2020.
- The SDCCU Biggest Used Car Sale set for the Del Mar Fairgrounds, set for March 14-15, has been moved to participating San Diego and Escondido dealerships. More info
- The 34th National Institute on White Collar Crime has canceled its planned March 11-13 conference at Marriott Marquis San Diego, citing coronavirus fears.
- Leaders of the Experimental Biology conference set to take place April 4-7 canceled the massive gathering over COVID-19 as well.
- The 2020 CIE Summit business technology summit at Marriott Marquis San Diego has been rescheduled from March 18-20 to Aug. 12-14 'out of an abundance of caution,' organizers say.
- Organizers with the Future of Individualized Medicine 2020, scheduled for March 12-13 at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, also canceled their event 'based on concern for the health of our registrants, speakers, exhibitors and staff.'
- The American Association for Cancer Research's annual meeting set for April 24-29 has been canceled. A reschedule of the meeting is being planned for later this year.
- The remainder of the San Diego Science and Engineering Festival has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. Organizers plan to reschedule the events for Fall 2020.
- National City Closes City Facilities in Response to COVID-19 Virus; City Hall and MLK Center Remain Open with Modified Services
National closures/suspensions:
- Little League says all of its baseball and softball activities are suspended until April 6. More info
- Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in California have temporarily suspended operations until the end of March
- Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks will be closed starting March 14 through the end of the month due to COVID-19. More info
- Knott's Berry Farm officials say the Buena Park theme park is closed through the end of March. More info
- Universal Studios in Hollywood and Orlando temporarily shut down. The Hollywood park will be closed until March 28, while a re-opening date was not given for the Florida location. More info
- The MLB has postponed the start of the season by at least two weeks and canceled all spring training games starting March 12. More info
- WonderCon Anaheim, scheduled for April 10-12 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County, has been postponed until a later date, according to Comic-Con International organizers.

- The Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia, is being postponed. The event was supposed to take place April 9-12.
